Frequently asked questions
What yarn and hook are recommended?
4-ply cotton (the maker used colorways 70, 06, 89, and 95) with a 2.5 mm hook.
How do I find the corners while working?
The corners are marked by the ch-2 spaces. Work the corner clusters into those ch-2 spaces on each round to keep the square shape.
What can I make with this motif?
It's finished as a square floral motif that works well as a coaster, and it can also be joined with others as a granny square.
How should I read the pattern?
Read the chart from the center outward, round by round, ending with the pointed bud/petal clusters at each side and corner on the final edge round.
