Frequently asked questions

Do I have to make every charm?

No — each charm is an independent pattern. Pick your favorites and hang as many as your frame fits; the poster used a ring of 24 balls with about 8 charms.

How do the little feet work?

Most charms share one universal foot pattern: an oval base from a ch-6 start, a BLO round, quick decreases and a skinny 6-sc tube. Make two per charm and sew them on.

What holds the ring shape?

The base ring is a chain of stuffed balls crocheted continuously with color changes; joining the last ball to the first closes the circle, and the charms hang from it on cords.
