Miffy Bunny Filet Bag — Base, Body & Strap Base Rnd 1: Ch 58 (turning chains) Rnd 2: 58 dc worked back into the back bumps of the chain Rnd 3: turn the work, 58 dc Rnd 4-7: 58 dc each row Body (filet crochet) Rnd 1-3: In the first st ch 5 to start; *skip 2 spaces, dc in the 4th st, ch 2*; repeat across the whole row (open filet mesh). Rnd 4-17: keep the mesh spacing consistent; form Miffy's solid image by working 2 dc into a grid square wherever the chart is filled. Rnd 18-20: work open mesh like Rnd 1. Rnd 21: work 2 dc in every square, all the way around. Strap Ch a foundation whose count is a multiple of 3 minus 1 (the crossbody strap used 230 ch). After the foundation, sl st at the symmetrical point of the pattern, sl st 3 more, ch 2 (turning), dc into the back bump of the 3rd ch, ch 2, skip 2 sts, dc... repeat across; after this row, work 5 more rows/groups.
