An airy, romantic scarf worked entirely in the Solomon's-knot (lover's-knot) mesh - beginner friendly since it's one stitch repeated.

Stitches used: ch, sc
Solomon's Knot (Lover's Knot / 七宝针) — Stitch Tutorial This is the mesh stitch used for the scarf, forming a diamond net. Step 1: Ch 1 to start, work 1 sc, then draw the working loop up long (elongate it) and ch 1. Step 2: Insert the hook into the back bump of that long chain, yarn over and pull up a loop. Step 3: Yarn over and draw through, then work 1 sc into it (steps 1-3 = one Solomon's knot). Step 4: The same way — elongate the loop, ch 1, pick up the back bump, pull up, work sc. Step 5: After making 2 Solomon's knots, insert the hook where the arrow shows and work 1 sc to anchor into the previous row. Step 6: At the end of Row 1, begin Row 2 with 4 ch (turning), 1 Solomon's knot, then sc into the arrowed loop; repeat across. Symbols: oval = ch, cross = sc; elongated loops = the extended Solomon's-knot loops.
Notes
Solomon's/Lover's knot mesh (七宝针) — the whole scarf is this one stitch repeated to the desired length. Keep the elongated loops even for a neat net.
