Lace Collar — Pineapple Lace Edging Symbol chart (no text). Worked flat in rows as a long strip of repeating pineapple motifs. Base: a foundation row of dc mesh worked along a starting chain. Each pineapple repeat: begin with a fan of dc worked into a stitch, then work a series of ch loops joined with sc that decrease each row to form the pineapple point, separated from the next motif by dc/ch mesh columns and long ch loops along the edges. Top edge: finished with small dc/ch fans forming a scalloped border. The chart shows the full motif repeat; continue the repeat to the length needed for the collar. Uses ch, sc and dc throughout.
