Queen's Collar — Diamond Net Lace Chart (worked as charted) Foundation: ch a multiple of 3 plus 2 (e.g. 3x74 + 2 = 224 for a wide collar, or 3x62 + 2 = 188 as a necklace-length reference). Work from the 2nd ch: base row of sc + ch. Row 1: *sc into every 3rd st, ch 7* across (ch-7 arches) Row 2: sc into each arch, ch 10 between (ch-10 arches) Row 3: sc into each arch, ch 8 Row 4: sc into each arch, ch 10 Row 5: sc into each arch, ch 8 Row 6: sc into each arch, ch 10 Row 7: *sc into arch, ch 4, 3-ch picot* across, forming the picot-scallop edge The alternating arch lengths create a diamond net that widens into a collar.
