A two-in-one star charm that opens into a stretchy net pouch for a drink cup: clip it to a bag as a decoration, or use it to carry a bubble-tea cup.

Star Charm & Milk-Tea Net Bag (X = sc, V = inc, T = tr, F = hdc, E/sl = sl st, k = skip) Net bag body: Rnd 1: Hold the two star pieces with right sides together (wrong sides out) and begin seaming. Join the first 70 stitches through the outer half-loops of both pieces with sc. For the last 15 stitches (the opening), sc through the front loop of the near piece only — leave this open. Rnd 2: ch 1, *2 sc, ch 10, skip 7, 1 sc, ch 10, skip 7*, repeat x5 (on the final ch 10, work ch 5 + 1 sl st instead). Rnd 3: ch 1, *1 sc, ch 10*, repeat x10 (final ch 10 = ch 5 + 1 sl st). Rnds 4-12: repeat Rnd 3. Rnd 13: ch 1, *1 sc, ch 6*, repeat x10, sl st. Rnd 14: ch 1, *1 sc, 7 sc into the ch space*, repeat x10, sl st. Rnd 15 (strap): ch 60, skip 19, 1 sl st. Make a second strap on the opposite side. Colors: Rnds 1-4 one color, Rnds 5-9 second color, Rnds 10-15 third color. Star (make 10 in assorted colors): Rnd 1: 5 sc in magic ring (5) Rnd 2: inc in each st (10) Rnd 3: *[ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 1 sc, 1 tr, 1 hdc], skip 1, 1 sl st*, repeat x5. Adjust the chain length as needed, then sl-st the finished stars onto the bag body.
