Vintage Granny Square Motif (Part 8) — Flower-in-Square (worked as charted) Rnd 1: MR, ch 2, work ~16 dc into the ring, join (16) — center wheel Rnd 2 (color B): join in a gap, form 8 small petals of dc groups around the center Rnd 3 (color A): in each gap work a larger dc petal, 8 petals total Rnd 4: begin squaring off — in the 4 corner gaps work (2 tr-bobble, ch, 2 tr-bobble); sc/hdc across the sides Rnd 5: dc across sides; in each corner (dc, ch 2, dc) Rnd 6: dc around; work 3 dc in each corner ch-space to finish the square Symbols: ch, sc (X), sl st, hdc, dc, 2-treble bobble.
Notes
