Lettuce: hdc + 3-in-1 ruffle in every stitch around (fw in each st)
Tomato: Rnd 1: 42 sc; Rnd 2: *sc, ch 4, skip 2, sc*, repeat around
Cheese: 10 dc, hdc-picot, 9 dc, hdc-picot, 10 dc, hdc-picot, 9 dc — the drippy corners
Beef patty: dc in every stitch around.

Notes

Burger 'hood' that slips over the inner ball: the BLO rounds mark the fold line, Rnds 17-24 flare back out to form the bottom bun. In this author's shorthand f=dc(长针 as used), fw=stitch+picot ruffle, k2=skip 2. Original note dated 2023-02-14; 图解来自@一只小团子.

Frequently asked questions

How does the bun fold work?

BLO rounds 11-14 crease the fabric; after Rnd 24 the flared section folds back on itself to become the bottom bun — glue optional.

What goes inside?

A separately-crocheted 42-st stuffed ball with an embroidered face peeks out between the bun layers.
