A pair of bakery bag charms — a plump croissant and a long pretzel rope with little feet. Both are small amigurumi worked in the round, sized to clip onto a bag or a set of keys.

Frequently asked questions
What do the letters X, V, A, F and T mean in this pattern?
They are Chinese chart shorthand: X = sc, V = increase, A = decrease, F = hdc, T = dc. FV is an hdc increase and FA an hdc decrease.
How is the pretzel shaped?
The rope is a 100-round tube that stays thin at the ends and widens in the middle. Once it is finished you bend it into the pretzel shape and stitch the crossings together.
Can I make these bigger?
Yes — the same stitch counts in a heavier yarn with a 3mm or 3.5mm hook will give a noticeably larger charm without changing any of the maths.
