Remaining kangaroo parts. The muzzle is worked with 2 strands held together; eye whites use 2 strands and pupils 1 strand, with a single-strand French knot for the highlight. Feet start from a chain and use a BLO round to create the sole fold.
Frequently asked questions
What do the bracketed numbers on the body rounds mean?
They are the colour split for that round - for example 17 yellow, 8 light yellow, 17 yellow tells you how many stitches of each shade to work so the belly panel lines up.
Why three different hook sizes?
The 2.0mm hook is for the head, body and limbs; the 1.5mm and 1.0mm hooks make the muzzle, eye whites and pupils small and dense enough that the stuffing does not show.
How are the eyes finished?
Work the eye white with two strands and the pupil with one, then add a single-strand French knot as the highlight.
