Frequently asked questions
How are the eyes worked so they stay rounded?
The eyes are 6 hdc in a magic ring; pull the ring tight and do not join, so they form a small curved cap ready to sew onto the face.
My hands and feet came out too small. Can I adjust them?
Yes. The pattern notes you can add 1-2 stitches to the hands (5 sc in MR) or feet (6 hdc in MR) if they look too small for your yarn and hook.
How is the body shaped at the bottom?
After the straight rounds, Rnd 13 works dec x15 to close the bottom, then the pattern continues into the upper section worked in front-loop-only rounds for the head shaping.
What is the assembly order?
Sew the hat, ears, face, hands, feet, and tail to the body, leaving long tails on each piece so you have enough yarn to attach them securely.
