Notes
Part 2 of the cool fish pattern. The fin uses Tunisian simple stitch ('pick up loops, work off in pairs'). Droopy eyelids over eye whites give the bored expression; pink spots are sewn on the head and body. Some spot-row punctuation in the source is messy; transcribed as printed.

Notes
The orange 'lazy fish' lying on the couch from SpongeBob background scenes, wearing a removable blue dc shirt. Non-commercial pattern by @三分钟热度的半吊子. Shorthand: x=sc, v=inc, a/A=dec, w=3 sc in one st, T=dc, F=hdc, E=sl st, K=skip; 拆两股=split yarn to 2 plies.
Frequently asked questions
How are the arms attached through the shirt?
On the cool fish, round 6 leaves two ch-6 armholes; at round 28 you crochet through sleeve and body together, so the white shirt looks worn rather than sewn on.
What technique does the dorsal fin use?
Tunisian (afghan) stitch: pick up a row of incomplete loops on the hook, then work them off two at a time. Six short rows are then sewn along the back seam.
How do the sleepy eyes work?
Eye whites are worked purl-side-out from 3-ply split yarn, then tucked inside looser 2-ply eyelid cups so the lids droop over them.
Is the lazy fish's shirt removable?
Yes — it is a separate tube of dc rounds with ch-4 armholes and short sleeves, slipped onto the body.
