Notes

Amigurumi Grogu (Baby Yoda). Body green; ears and lower face light brown; collar beige worked on 3.5 mm hook (rest of doll on a smaller hook). Head and body crocheted as one piece, max 30 sts at the widest, closed at Rnd 21. Ears worked flat from a ch-8 base with tr clusters. Eyes: plastic safety beads recommended. Original design by ig: onpoki. (Source shorthand: X=sc, V=inc, A=dec, T=tr, F=hdc, W in Rnd 2 read as a single sc between increases.)

Frequently asked questions

What eyes should I use?

The pattern recommends plastic safety beads for the eyes. Attach them securely while the head opening is still accessible, before you cinch it closed at Round 21.

When do I attach the ears?

Sew the ears on between Rounds 5 and 9 of the head/body. The ears are worked flat from a ch-8 base with tr clusters, and each is left with a long tail for sewing.

Are the arms stuffed?

No. The arms are left unstuffed: flatten Round 4 and work 3 sc across through both layers to close, then leave a long tail to sew them onto the body.

What do the chart shorthand letters mean?

The source uses X=sc, V=inc (increase), A=dec (decrease), T=tr (treble), and F=hdc. In Round 2 the 'W' is read as a single sc worked between the increases.
