Cockatiel Parrot — Cheeks, Feet & Assembly Cheeks (make 2, orange, split 2-ply yarn, 1.25mm hook) Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR Rnd 2: 6 inc Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x6 (18), fasten off Feet (make 2) Use four 20cm lengths of florist wire (~5cm finished; a thin pipe cleaner also works). Coat the wire with glue and wrap with skin-tone yarn. Assembly Sew Wing A and Wing B together along the marked line, then sew the wings onto the body along the marked line.

Orange cheek circles in split (2-ply) yarn, 1.25mm hook. Wire feet wrapped in skin-tone yarn (~5cm). Wings joined A+B then attached to the body.
Cockatiel Parrot — Finishing (assembly photos): sew the wire feet to the body, sew or glue the orange cheeks to the head and pull the eye sockets for realism, embroider the beak in skin-tone yarn, make the crest by wrapping yellow yarn 7-10 times over a 10cm loop and sewing it to the top of the head, then trim/style the hair and attach the eyes.
