What order do the color changes go in?
Starting from the pencil tip: natural/cream for the point, then light yellow, then yellow for the long body (Rnds 8-32), gray for the metal ferrule, and pink for the eraser at the top.
Why is Rnd 2 of the feet worked in back loops only?
Working that round in BLO (back loops only) creates a defined edge that shapes the little foot and keeps it from curling, helping the two feet sit flat against the body when sewn on.
How much should I stuff the body?
