Mudkip Gummy — Cheek Frills (Page 2) Cheeks (make 2) Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6) Rnd 2: Inc in each st around (12). Fasten off. Cheek spikes Insert the hook at the red dot of the diagram and come out at the green dot, pull up a chain loop; then, working onto that loop: *Ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st onto the base loop* — repeat 3 times. Fasten off. This makes the three little points of Mudkip's star-shaped cheek. Attach the cheeks to the sides of the head, following the eye-placement sketch.

How are the orange cheek spikes made?
