Notes

Handwritten pattern photographed from paper for 'piglet Link' (Zelda soft-gummy body). From the post: 2.5 mm hook, MengXiaoYa yarn, pattern credit @钩了个豆. Several handwritten tokens are ambiguous (arrows, corrections); rounds above follow the clearest reading and the 小象-style bobble/gummy construction. Double-check R9-R11 bobble placement against the photos when making.

Frequently asked questions

The source is handwritten — how reliable is the translation?

Most rounds are clear, but a few arrows and corrections around rounds 9-11 (bobble placement) are ambiguous. The translation follows the standard gummy-body construction; compare against the finished photos as you go.

What makes the snout bumps?

Round 9 alternates increases with brown bobbles, and round 11 repeats two more bobbles — the same cheek-bump trick used in gummy elephants and similar charms.

How is the hair made?

Chain loops (ch 8-9) with slip stitches back down, worked in rows; two longer strands get small sc details at the ends.
