Frequently asked questions
Why are there two hook sizes?
The body uses thick fluffy yarn with a 5.0mm hook; the comb, beak, feet and eyes use fine cotton with a 2.0mm hook.
This pattern uses joined rounds — why?
Each round starts with ch 1 and closes with a sl st, which keeps the color and shaping columns straight on the fluffy fabric.
