A set of six small flower motifs for brooches and hair clips - sunflower, gardenia, camellia, one-piece rose, snowball flower and a two-tone pink bloom. Most use the same trick of alternating front-loop petal rounds with back-loop base rounds so the layers stack from one continuous piece.

Frequently asked questions
What is the FLO/BLO trick these flowers keep using?
You work the petals into the front loops of a round, then go back and work the next base round into the back loops of the same round. The petals sit in front and the flower keeps growing outward, so you get stacked layers without joining separate pieces.
Which flower is different?
The camellia. It is a long flat strip of 73 chains with double crochet fans worked into chain spaces, then rolled up from one end and sewn - a rolled ribbon rose rather than a layered motif.
What are the multi-wrap trebles in the pink flower?
The petals use trebles with three and four yarn wraps to get progressively longer stitches, which is what gives that flower its long pointed petals.
